My impression is that they are disorganized, misled, and distracted. Tamil diaspora isn’t large enough to make a symbolic impact. The majority of Tamils view arts as a passive hobby. Aside from that, there is no infrastructure to house our arts. It’s not a diss or disrespect to the artists. It is just basic maths and plain facts. I could go on about this, but for now, this scene from Street Kings paints a picture of what I think about the diaspora and the self-proclaimed Tamil 'artists'.
